Crossword GO Picture Clues Explained

Some clue squares show an image instead of words. In Picture Puzzles, every single clue is an image.

How to read a picture clue

• Use the everyday word. A camera is a CAMERA, not a DSLR.
• Count first. The number of squares tells you how long the word is — use it to choose between CUP and MUG.
• Singular or plural? Several of the same object usually means a plural answer.
• Watch for blanks under the picture. In main levels many pictures come with a word that has letters missing, like a fence labelled F__CE. The answer is only the missing letters — here EN.

Our picture answers

On every answer page, picture clues are shown as the same image you see in the game, next to the answer tiles. On the solved grid the picture sits in its clue square, so you can match it to your board at a glance.
